Mastering conversion rate can unlock untapped revenue in your business.

By definition — Conversion rate is the measurement of total number of things / happening over specific time.

Your conversion rate can be any change in numbers including (but not limited to)…

  1. Number of Optins
  2. Number of Subscribers
  3. Number of orders
  4. Number of calls booked
  5. Number of deals closed

If you can optimize the elements (i.e. landing page, sales page, offer, etc) which can affect the above numbers then it’s possible to increase your conversion rate.

A little change in conversion rate can massively improve your back-end numbers including your revenue and profit.

Here are 5 secrets to double your business overnight.

Secret #1: Outreach Conversion.

We think outreach number matters.

It’s not until we fail multiple times that we start to think, “What, specifically?”

It took me 2 years to realize cold outreach numbers doesn’t impact growth.

Conversion rate does — no. of calls booked.

Let’s take an example.

If you send 100 cold emails and you book 3 calls.

Then, your conversion rate is 3%.

If you optimize your cold emails (i.e. change your copy) then you can see a significant change in number of booked calls.

Let’s say you increase your outreach conversion to 5%.

Then, you can easily get 5 calls booked from 100 cold emails.

How many additional clients can you get from this little change?

Can you see the power here?

This is how you can change your marketing agency revenue overnight.

Although, cold email copy isn’t the only factor which affects the conversion rate.

There are other factors including:

  • Leads sourcing
  • Email verification
  • Email deliverability
  • Offer response
  • Email response rate

• A/B test your offer

• Include a guarantee

Boring and general offers don’t convert.

If your offer is boring then it’s hard to get any new client.

Your clients want results nothing more.

They don’t want to know how you generate revenue for them (whether Facebook Ads, copywriting, or any other way).

You just need to focus on the results your service can provide.

Then, craft a one-line offer which can be easily pitched anywhere to anyone.

If you just change your offer and don’t touch anything else.

A great offer means more response rate, more calls booked and therefore more clients.

Secret #4: Call Conversion.

Your closing rate determines your business success.

And you can learn it with practice.

Get more calls on your calendar.

Close more deals.

When your calendar is packed with calls — hire & train sales reps.

When you improve your sales call conversion rate then it’s just a numbers game to achieve BIG results.

Don’t focus on optimizing your closing rate if you don’t receive enough calls on your calendar.

For this you need to improve your outreach conversion rate — so that you can get more calls.

Focus on getting booked calls first and then optimize your closing rate by watching your previous sales calls recordings.

Secret #5: Upsell Conversion.

Your upsell conversion rate depends on two factors:

  • No. of new clients
  • No. of satisfied clients

If you’ve achieved both.

Then, focus on optimizing your upsell offer.

If you think it’s enough to get new clients then you’re missing out.

You need to keep your back-end of your agency healthy by introducing another offer for your existing clients.

You can upsell more clients if you:

  • Optimize your upsell offer
  • Improve your client relationship
  • Provide expected results to your clients

If you’re not at a stage where you can upsell your clients.

Then, focus on getting more clients on your front-end offer.

The more clients you get — the more knowledge you can gather about your target market.

When you have more knowledge then you can create new offers.
